11. Mirror in the ocean

As I travel in I through down a heavy anchor
The bell tolls to balance out the rocky basin
Whilst a daystar shines open the third eye on the dolphin
A dewdrop falling from the soaring eagle into a cup of valour

The holly door opens revealing the tonsure flaming on the head
The horseman on a white horse riding towards the lighthouse
To catch the fiery chariot before they follow the phoenix
For in the vine you’ll find the ladder, still and arouse

Eleven, the sunrise over the unicorn
See them, the dove in the rose new born
Thirty-three oxen standing on the horizon
The pilgrim leaves for the pole star at dawn
And so it became
A single torch shining away the dark force
And when I regain
Realisation that light and dark, the same
Feel this now
A wrath that blinds the horse
Screaming now
Let it rain
Let it rain - on me (soon)

Myrrh and aloes growing under oak
Opens up the wholly morning star:
A child holding a shiny apple
Standing under my walnut tree
Pomegranate opened as sound spoke
Conveying to tell the martyr,
of the grace & acceptance behind the double likes of thee
Quince, quench thirst of me
